ONE of Court Fields School’s Madagascar Eight, Aaron Filler, got to grips with bingo lingo at a family friendly-fundraiser at The Scout Hall in Wellington.

He made up a few quirky calls as caller at the well-attended event which raised £191 towards his personal fundraising target of £3,750.

The Scout Hall provided the venue free of charge and town butcher Tim Potter supplied the meat for full house prizes. Raffle prizes were given by some of the guests, Tim Potter and Bloomin’ Lovely, refreshments were served and lots of donations of home-made cakes were made. It is hoped to organise a similar event in June.
