THE family of a man who died while skydiving in Dunkeswell have paid tribute.

Skydiving instructor Adam Harrison, 30, died alongside mother of four Belinda Taylor, 48, when their 15,000 feet tandem jump at Dunkeswell Aerodrome went wrong on Friday, June 13.

Adam’s father, Paul Harrison says his late son was “magnificent”.

The family said: “It is with both aching hearts and deep gratitude that we remember Adam.

“His departure has left an immense space in all our lives — one that echoes with laughter, love, and the unmistakable sound of his booming, joyful presence.

“He approached everything he loved with passion — from skydiving and snowboarding to spontaneous adventures and silly jokes.

“And when he loved, he loved deeply. His closest friends who saw Adam with [his girlfriend] Chelsea knew what real love looked like.

“Though we mourn the loss of a truly extraordinary person, we also celebrate the profound joy he brought to the world.

Adam’s brothers Jake and Tom shared their tributes.

Jake said: “I am so proud to have called you a brother, a friend, an ally, a Hero to Ez, a partner in crime, a colleague and one of my favourite people.”

Tom added: “You would have been a great chiropractor, husband, father I wish more than anything that we three brothers in our 80’s could have been sat watching the sun going down talking about how our children and grandchildren are doing and remembering that time where your jump nearly went so badly wrong.”

Step-father Warren Bird added: “Adam, there are so many words left unsaid — you were deeply loved, and your life meant more than you knew. We’ll carry you with us, always.”

In their tribute, the family shared a message they believe Adam would’ve wanted to pass on: “Keep flying. Don’t let this stop you. Fly safe. I love you all.”
