AN investigation is due to start at 10am this morning after fire ripped through a kebab takeaway in North Street Wellington last night.

Fire fighters wearing breathing sets fought the blaze as adjoining premises were threatened, after emergency calls from local people at around 10.45pm.

There have been no reports of casualties.
