FOURTEEN flats in North Street, Wellington (pictured), are up for sale at £1,100,000.

Three of the occupiers are sitting tenants and the others are on short-term contracts. The flats generate income of £75,000 a year.

Wellington football club treasurer Reg Oxby, one of the sitting tenants, has lived in one of the flats for 32 years.

He said yesterday: “I would find it very difficult to find a flat of this size in Wellington. I certainly would not like to move outside of the town.”
