Wellington Food Bank has temporarily closed and moved to a home delivery service from Taunton Foodbank warehouse.
The move is due to the Government’s ’stay at home’ policy.
Taunton Foodbank, which includes Wellington in its network, is being supported by Somerset West and Taunton Council to provide the service.
The Wellington area will be covered on a Thursday.
Clare Lucker, from the food bank, said: "If you are in need of our services, we are keeping to our referral system and you can contact the agency who has referred you in the past, for example the council, Citizen’s Advice, job centre, village agent, medical centres and, for schools, referrals should come through parent, family support workers."
