THOUSANDS of people are expected to throng Wellington town centre on Saturday for the annual eat:Wellington food and drink festival.
More than 80 producers will have stalls in High Street and South Street with the event open from 10am-4pm.
Organiser Sarah Milner Simonds said: “Wellington is a cracking town with an incredible range of independent stores – we hope that visitors to the festival will explore Wellington and become new regular visitors.”
The event is backed by Porter Dodson, Hawksmoor IM and Wilkie, May & Tuckwood. Roads will be closed for safety reasons from 6am-7pm.
Members of Indian Dance South West (pictured), who meet at The Scout Hall in Fore Street, Wellington, will be performing at the festival.
