New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Balti House Tandoori Ltd, at 4a Ditton Street, Ilminster, Somerset was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 18.

And Palmers Garden Centre, at Bernards Way, Yeovil, Somerset was also given a score of four on October 18.

It means that of Somerset's 958 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 795 (83%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
