SSAFA, the armed forces charity, is holding an open garden at Burges Meadow, Maundown, near Wiveliscombe, on Bank Holiday Monday (May 29), between
2-5.30pm.
The two-acre hillside garden has 100 varieties of interesting and unusual trees, plus numerous shrubs and borders. Entry is £4, children free, although regretably no dogs are allowed.
