PEOPLE over 55 in the Wellington area can have their will made free of charge this month.
Solicitors across Somerset are supporting St Margaret’s Hospice by waiving their usual fee for writing or updating a simple or mirror will during the charity’s Free Will Month.
Anyone interested in making their will should book an appointment before Friday, March 29, with a participating solicitor. The initiative follows the popularity of last year’s Free Will Fortnight, when more than 100 people or couples took the opportunity to make or update their will.
Appointments are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. They can take place at any time, as long as they are booked in March. The following solicitors are participating in Free Will Month: Alletsons, Bridgwater; Amicus Law, Yeovil; Ashfords, Taunton; Battens Solicitors, Yeovil, Sherborne and Castle Cary; Berensens, Chard; Broomhead & Saul, Taunton; Chubb Bulleid, Wells, Street and Somerton; Clarke Willmott LLP, Taunton; Everys, Taunton; Gareth Webb & Co, Yeovil; Harris & Harris, Wells; Quality Solicitors Gould & Swayne, Glastonbury, Street and Wells; Routh Clarke Solicitors, Tintinhull, Yeovil; Scott Rowe Solicitors, Axminster; Williamsons, Crewkerne.
