The scheme sees money raised from the 5p bag charge used to fund local projects in communities across the UK and shoppers can vote for the club at local stores throughout May and June.
The group offers monthly meetings and outings to combat the loneliness and isolation living in a rural area can bring, particularly for older people.
The club has 136 members who live in an area extending from Wiveliscombe in the south to Creech St Michael in the north and most towns and villages in between.
