The garden at Burges Meadow at Maundown, near Wiveliscombe, has opened for 15 years in aid of SSAFA – the Armed Forces charity.

This year it has not opened because of the coronavirus crisis but owners Bob and Pauline Homeshaw are inviting visitors.

Pauline (pictured inset) said: “If you would like to come and see the garden and are struggling a little with the Corona Blues, you would be more than welcome.

“Observing social distancing, visitors can have a garden wander and bring their own tea and cakes to enjoy in a cosy shady spot.

“There is an outside loo with soap, anti-bac wipes and handwash. The drive has adequate parking. If you would like to visit, phone Bob and Pauline Homeshaw on 01984 624564 and they will be very happy to see you.”

The garden can be found at TA4 2HL.
