GRAHAM Sparks celebrated his 60th birthday with a big bash for family and friends at Nynehead village hall last Saturday.

Graham, who runs Graham Sparks Restoration at Tone Works, Tonedale, and is a cricket fan, also invited top chef Alan Whatley - one of his customers - who made the cake.

Graham said: “I have a big family and a lot of friends and customers. I had a scare last year and I wanted to thank everyone who has been a blessing to me in my life. It was a great night and I think everyone enjoyed it.”

Guest of honour was Graham Fancy, a former employer, who has been one of Graham’s best friends for over 40 years.
