ANDI Rickard of Wellington Community Meadows Group (WCMG) receives a cheque for £100 from Simon Ratsey, representing Brendon Energy.

This grant from the BE Community Fund enabled WCMG to purchase a new scythe – held by Helen Gillingham of the Transition Town Sustainable Food Group.

It will be used to help manage grassy areas around the town, such as the orchard at Swains Lane Nature Reserve (pictured).
