THE annual garden meeting at Millway Evangelical Church was an enjoyable, well attended event, with people travelling from far and near to support it.

In spite of the forecast of rain the event went ahead as planned outdoors with PA and gazebos supplied by Terry Milton.

The guest speaker, Gilbert Cozens from David Livingstone International, was able to speak of the charity’s work and Christian ethos.

Professional violinist Paul Roberts and Millway’s own Andrew Kimber entertained guests.

Following the meeting Country Bumpkin Catering from Bradninch provided a superb buffet tea.
