HAIRDRESSERS normally like to chat but Davinia Fox of Hair By Davinia at Rockwell Green is planning to keep quiet for a whole day.
The sponsored silence on Wednesday, September 5, is in aid of Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance and Musgrove Park Hospital’s children’s ward (Oak).
Davinia will be trying to be quiet between 9am and 7.30pm and will be fining herself £1 for every word spoken.
She will also be giving all her takings on the sponsored silence day to the good causes.

Davinia said: “My daughter has spent time on Oak children’s ward as a patient, so it’s naturally close to my heart.”

Sponsorship forms are also available in the salon, along with a donation box for the children’s ward where items like toiletries, games, DVDs and books can be left.
