MUMS, dads and all carers of babies and young children can learn emergency first aid procedures at an event at St Andrew’s Church, Wiveliscombe, tomorrow (Thursday, March 7).

Akesis Medical Services is providing the course from 10am-noon free of charge but donations would be appreciated.

The course will cover life-threatening emergencies such as what to do if a baby chokes, stops breathing, has a seizure, has a head injury or is showing signs of critical illness including meningitis and septicemia/sepsis. A question and answer session will follow.
