Drivers on the M5 tomorrow (Saturday) are being warned to expect delays as a 225-tonne abnormal load is driven to West Buckland from Dunball, north of Bridgwater.

Avon and Somerset Police says the wide load, a transformer, will travel along the motorway and the A38 between 8.30am and 10am.

Police will escort the vehicle and traffic may need to be held at points for safety reasons.

The wide load will be driven to Bishop’s Hull on the A38 between 8.30am and 10am on Sunday, and again traffic may be held.
