THE £250 proceeds of a cake stall which Churches Together in Wellington and District organised at Wellington’s Carnival Street Fair last month are presented to Wellington Stroke Club for the upkeep of its bus.

Churches Together chairman John Salter said: “Very many thanks to all the folk from the various churches who made a wide selection of cakes to satisfy all tastes, and to everyone who helped on the day serving the passing customers. It was a magnificent effort.”
