BLACKDOWN Hills Transition (BHT) group has £1,500 ready to give away to sustainability

projects.

Grants of up to £250 are available in the following categories: planting a community or school orchard or vegetable patch; planting and maintaining a wildflower verge; running a skills share repair workshop for families and children; running a home-based repair support team to link with Blackdown Hills Support Group; supporting a new Repair Cafe in the Blackdown Hills; and publish groups of local children’s stories on climate change.

The money has come from support and donations made to Blackdown Hills Transition Apple Days and Repair Cafes.
