ROCKWELL Green Primary School’s hockey team performed well at the county finals held at Millfield but Tatworth Primary became overall champions.

Eight teams were entered from around the county having won their local rounds and Rockwell got off to a fantastic start with a win over Parkfield. And after a couple of closely fought defeats the team regrouped after lunch to play some of their best hockey of the day.

Unfortunately they met an in-form Park School and were pipped 3-2 at the end. The final two games against Baltonsborough and Eastover brought well-earned victory and fourth position overall.
