FIVE crews dealt with a fire which badly damaged a semi-detached home at Bramley Close, Wellington, on Wednesday morning.

On arrival firefighters discovered a blaze in the ground floor kitchen – after a toaster had caught fire – which was spreading to the first floor.
Crews used breathing apparatus, two hosereel jets, one main jet and one safety jet to extinguish the fire.
The ground floor of the property was 100 per cent damaged by fire and smoke, and the first and second floors were 100 per heat and smoke damaged.
