COUNCILLORS in Wellington have supported plans to build a home and detached double garage in the garden to the side of The Elms in Jurston Lane.

The proposal was discussed at a planning meeting of the town council held on Monday evening but will be decided by Somerset West and Taunton Council.

Cllr Chris Booth said: "I think it is one more house on top of large development."
