THE St Margaret’s Hospice shop in Wiveliscombe is moving to larger premises after opening in the town about ten years ago.

The current premises are being sold and the shop is in the process of moving to 1 High Street.

Shop manager Janet Shaw said: “We’ve loved being at our current store but everyone who knows the shop will also know that ‘compact and bijoux’ describes the set up pretty well.

“Our new shop is much bigger, so we’ll be able to offer a much wider selection of goods. We’ll also have more storage space for all the wonderful donations we receive from our generous donors.”

The new shop is on track to open on Thursday, November 24, with a volunteer recruitment day on Monday, December 12, from noon-3pm.

Janet added: “We’d love to see customers old and new at the opening and if you have a few hours a week to spare, pop along to the volunteer day, or come in at any time to chat through our volunteering options.”
