THE Friends of Wellington Park are getting set to present this year’s spring fair in the town’s Edwardian park in Courtland Road.

The Genesis Youth Group and High Park Music School will be providing entertainment, along with the Avtar Indian Dance Group.

Romanian Dog Rescue South West will be staging a fun dog show, and a bouncy castle, inflatable slide and football goals – shoot the hoop – will be on offer.

A large number of stalls, including The Cider Shack, will also be attending, and refreshments will be available, as well as a hot dog stall and ice cream van.

The fair will be officially opened by the Mayor of Taunton Deane Cllr Catherine Herbert, accompanied by Wellington Mayor Cllr Gary James and Taunton Deane MP Rebecca Pow and their partners, and escorted by Wellington Town Majorettes.

The fair is on Sunday (May 6) from 1.30-4.30pm.
