MONEY made from a Christmas raffle held by the Oxfam charity shop in Wellington will aid families in need of support.

Oxfam was able to buy a ‘Goat Couple’ – two goats to enable a family to produce fertiliser and baby goats; a Shelter Kit which gives people in crisis the materials to build a Shelter very quickly; and Feed a Family which provides either a voucher for food or puts food on the table in a crisis.

The raffle winner was Mrs Burke, who was thrilled with her prize.

Shop manager Andrew Debieux would like to say a big thank you to everyone who supported the raffle.
