AFTER a  successful first month in their new venue, Gordon’s Algiers Strutters will be welcoming jazz fans to the next evening of New Orleans Jazz at Magelake, Uffculme, tonight (Wednesday, September 20) at 7.30pm. 

The Strutters say: “We have a different line-up of experienced and well respected musicians each month.

“For September we feature Brian Down on cornet, Bob Reynolds on trombone, Steve Cockett on clarinet and sax, John Baker on banjo and drums, and Len Mills with his famous three-string double bass. Mike Pike will be busy drumming in the back corner.”
