Delia Kennedy is due to complete her achievement of 1100 miles at Coldharbour Mill on 6th September.
She is raising money to say ‘Thank You’ to NHS Staff and volunteers at Tiverton Hospital and Cullompton Health Centre.
At the start of the year, Delia decided to raise money by walking the same distance from Lands End to John O’Groats, an impressive 1100 miles. Delia will finish her walk having completed 1100 ‘virtual’ miles around the local area and will finish her last few steps at Coldharbour Mill in Uffculme.
Delia is due to finish her outstanding fundraising walk for the Tiverton Hospital and Cullompton Health Centre on 6th September 2022 at around 2.30pm.
Delia is asking for individuals to walk the last 9 miles with her and the Uffculme Walking group, this is from Halberton to Uffculme.
Staff from Tiverton Hospital, Cullompton Health Centre and Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Trust Charity will be present to give a few words, the total amount raised will also be announced.
If you would like to participate in the final 9 mile walk please phone Tony on 07799047844, the day before (or earlier) and arrangements can be made including meeting up somewhere en route.
The final stretch of the walk will be along the Culm from Magelake and down to the Mill.
If you would like to see Delia ‘cross the line’ you can come along to Coldharbour Mill in Uffculme, EX15 3EE from 2.30pm onwards.

Coldharbour Mill are proud to be supporting Delia and are ecstatic that Delia chose Coldharbour Mill to be the final goal of her brilliant fundraiser.
