MILVERTON & District Twinning Association pumpkin carving competiton last Saturday was its usual annual great success with fiendish fantastic prizes for the most creepily creative carvings.

Local children’s author Angie Sage gave and signed her Pathfinder and Colour-in books and Milverton Conservation Group gave vouchers for ‘Nest Box Saturday’ to be run in December.

First prize for the over-eights went to James Beale and Mia Perry won the under-sevens section.

Milverton is twinned with Longny-au-Perche in France.
