LANDLORDS are being offered a new scheme which guarantees to pay rent whether the tenant pays or not.

The new rent guaranteed and management service has been launched by local agents Stags, and also covers legal fees for eviction and rent recovery as well as providing additional cover for tenants' malicious damage. The scheme will also pay 50% of the rent following eviction for three months.

A spokesman said: "This service helps to solve many of the fears that existing or new landlords have when letting a property."
