THE Court Fields Year 9 language leaders’ second visit to Wellesley Park Primary School again proved very successful.

This time the leaders prepared a carousel of fun activities on topics such as countries, animals and sports. The game of ‘Lotto’ was a popular activity among all the pupils, one of whom said: “I have really enjoyed today and learnt a lot.”

The Year 5s and 6s impressed the language leaders, in particular with their can-do attitude and pronunciation skills.

For the Year 9s, this was the final stage in the successful completion of their Language Leader Award, which they have been working on since September.

Mrs Payne, modern foreign languages teacher and Language Leader co-ordinator, said the leaders should be very proud of their achievements and the fantastic job they had done in producing their own resources.
