Younger children often used hands and fingers to design individual poppies, while the older children took time to reflect with their designs in silhouette and well thought out verses.
Branch secretary Peter Critchard, said: “This is always a very moving experience for those people who have been in the service of their country.
“The thoughts and words of the young people of all ages from Rockwell Green Primary School are a credit to everyone at the school, and something that the parents and carers of these children can be extremely proud of. They are a credit to you all and to the wider community of Wellington.
“Our thanks go to Mrs Dunstan and everyone at the school for allowing us the time to make these visits.”
