THE road safety team at Somerset County Council visited Beech Grove Primary School in Wellington and spoke to each year group to promote road safety.

The talks encouraged the pupils to think about safety on the roads including Stop, Look, Listen, Think and to wear reflective clothing on darker days.

Pupils were keen to share their knowledge and experiences – and were curious about why crossing signals were named after birds.
