AN updated version of Strindberg’s classic play Miss Julie is being screened at the Wellesley cinema in Wellington as part of National Theatre Live.

Kate Bush pays tribute to missing former Wellington man after Christmas swim The play, in which the newly single Julie becomes involved in a power struggle after a late night party, stars BAFTA winner Vanessa Kirby (The Crown, Streetcar Named Desire) as Julie.
It is adapted by Polly Stenham (That Face) and directed by Carrie Cracknell (The Deep Blue Sea, A Doll’s House).
Julie will be broadcast live to cinemas on Thursday, September 6, at 7pm.
