Mayor of Wellington Cllr Gary James probably didn’t expect to have to show off his dancing moves at a charity concert last week – but he certainly did just that!

Cllr James was among the civic dignitaries called up on stage at the Octagon Theatre in Yeovil on Thursday to help perform the Time Warp dance from the cult movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

It was the finale of a concert hosted by the Mayor of Yeovil, Cllr Darren Shutler, in aid of his charities for the year – St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice and the School in a Bag project.

Cllr James certainly got into the spirit of the event – although it is unlikely he will be invited to take part in TV’s Strictly Come Dancing any day soon.
