WELLINGTON Operatic Society is always keen to share the love and never more so than with this year’s autumn show, ‘LOVE’.

Devised and directed by Kirk Shepherd, a long-standing member of the society, ‘LOVE’ is a pastiche of stories exploring the different stages of a love story – meeting, falling in love, separating and, of course, the happy ending.

The performances of this new work take place at Wellington Arts Centre from Tuesday-Saturday, November 7-11, at 7.30pm with the traditional matinee on Saturday at 2.30pm.

The show holds all the promise of being another slick, professional evening of pure entertainment by the group featuring solo singers, duets, chorus numbers and dancers.

The group hopes audience members will find themselves tapping their toes and singing along to the familiar tunes included in the evening.

Tickets cost £8 and can be purchased from the arts association’s regular box office, Odette’s Tearoom in Wellington High Street.
