SHHHHHHHHH! No whispering, no talking, not a single sound crossed the lips of the School Council representatives at St John’s CE Primary School in Wellington when they took part in a sponsored silence.  

The school says children were fantastic, giving up their lunch break with teachers Mrs Davies and Mrs Weymouth joining in, too.  

The pupils raised more than £60 for Conquest Riding for the Disabled and Able-bodied. The school thanks parents for their support, too.
