Harrison Financial Services, based at Chelston, hosted its successful annual coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

A company spokeswoman said: “We received just over 30 visitors to the office and managed to raise an outstanding £307 – so far! 

“We are looking forward to next year’s event already. It is such a very worthy cause and we loved transforming our office for the day. There was a lovely friendly and sociable atmosphere.

“We will need some more big bake recipes as we usually have quite a lot of cake left – not this time! We provided boxes and plates for people to take additional away with them.

“One Wellington resident posted on our Facebook page ‘thank you so much for the warm welcome’.”
