MAGGIE Milton is through to the finals of this year’s Care Focus Care Awards for Excellence in leadership Maggie has worked for Wellington and Longforth House since April 2002, and has worked in the care industry for most of her life.

Maggie was promoted to manager in 2004 and remained in the position until March 2015. By the team at Wellington, by family members but especially by the residents she is regarded as the heart and sole of the home.

Maggie is finally retiring, so hopefully winning the award would make the perfect way to retire.

Maggie has been ambassador for the care industry for many years and has supported apprentices work placements, and 100’s of staff in her time with the home.

Maggie will be missed by all the staff and the residents, and all we can say is a massive thank you for everything she has done for us all and GOOD LUCK…
