STABLE Arts, Nynehead Court and the artists behind the Colours exhibition were delighted to welcome the Mayor and Mayoress of Wellington, Gary and Bee James, to a private view luncheon.
The artwork on display was created by adults and young people with learning disabilities from two day centres – Meadowbank at Court Gardens Farm, Nynehead, and My Day at Taunton.
The exhibition was curated by Stable Arts at Nynehead Court, whose arts co-ordinator Mary Kembery attended the private view along with Deb Sparks, newly appointed deputy manager at Nynehead Court, and the artists.
Mayor Gary James said: “We were delighted to talk and engage with the students and see all the lovely creative art works they have made.”
Stable Arts opened in August 2017 within the grounds of Nynehead Court and offers arts and crafts workshops and courses.
