The group, which used to meet in the Lang Room next door to the church in Rockwell Green, was celebrating its fifth birthday, said Janet (fourth from left, seated behind the ladies cutting the cake).

The group used to have speakers, play skittles and go on trips, and raise money for charities, said Janet, now aged 76.
