DEMOLITION experts have flattened the Merry Harriers, a popular pub at Clayhidon, which was seriously damaged by two mystery fires last year.

The pub first went up in flames in July 2016, and then again near Christmas. Both fires are thought to have been started deliberately.

Police are still keen to hear from anyone who believes they have information in connection with either incident.
