A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said on Monday: “We were called to Mantle Street in Wellington shortly before 9pm last night (Sunday 19 February) after a car was reported to have collided with a number of parked vehicles.
“A 33-year-old man was arrested and has since been charged with drink-driving. He has been released on conditional bail and is due before magistrates in Taunton on Monday 13 March.”
