MORE new council homes are in the pipeline after a scheme to build 26 properties in Rockwell Green was approved by planners.

That will bring the total built, or being built, by Taunton Deane Borough Council to well in excess of 100.

The council is investing heavily in building new properties following a change in the rules around public housing finance, sparking a revival in council house-building.
