AS the Police Sergeant for Wellington I would like to introduce you to PCSO 8366 Chandler Hallett who this week joined us as a member of the Wellington Neighbourhood Police Team.

Having arrived on Monday, Chandler is currently working alongside PCSO Vicky Henderson while he gets to know the area, meets as many people as possible in the community and is introduced to a number of the external partners we work with across the town.

Chandler joins PCSO Steve Hill, PCSO Simon Bramley, PC Rob Brown and PC Hayden Smith on the Wellington Central and South Beat which covers the whole of Wellington town centre and the surrounding villages such as West Buckland, Sampford Arundel and Holywell Lake.

Chandler is very much looking forward to working alongside and supporting everyone who makes up the communities across Wellington.

He comes from a footballing background and was a professional goalkeeper with Colchester United last season, and has joined local Toolstation League side Wellington.
