LINDEN House nursing home in Wellington hosted an Easter Egg hunt, jumble sale, Easter raffle and refreshments.

The egg hunt was well attended with lots of children and parents making their way around the grounds in search of clues for eggs, while residents watched from the dining room and orangery windows. More than £300 was raised for the residents’ fund.

Other events with the residents over Easter included card-making, Easter bonnet making, egg painting, origami and knitted Easter egg cosies.

Nic Cappell and her team were busy in the kitchen cooking up an Easter feast of roast lamb dinner followed by Simnel cake, chocolate cake, Easter biscuits and cup-cakes.
