WELLINGTON Cricket Club are unlikely to have the services of an "overseas" player for their first team this summer.

Club chairman Duncan Short says ex-Test star Jimmy Cooke, who normally fixes up Wellington with such a player, is having difficulty in finding anyone with a British passport.
