THE Blackdown Hills Transition Group does not know when Repair Cafes will be able to resume in the midst of the coronavirus crisis but a repair service is still available.

Stephan Lehner, of the group, says several repairers are willing to carry out repairs at their own homes.

He asks that anyone who would like an item repairing should email him with details of the item to be repaired, the nature of the problem and their name, address and phone number.

Clothing and fabrics, watches and clocks, electrical items, bicycles and computers are among the items that can be repaired in return for a donation.

A knife and garden equipment sharpener is also available and Stephan can carry out some woodwork repairs himself.
