NYNEHEAD Court has welcomed two new feathered residents to the home.

The two chickens join Snap, the last of the three original birds which joined the home in late 2015.

They and Snap (pictured) live in the garden of Nynehead Court’s Mulberry Wing for people living with dementia, and provide residents with a focus when they are walking in or looking out at the grounds. The residents will be invited to vote for the new chickens’ names soon.

Home manager Angela Watkins said: “The residents have always enjoyed watching the chickens and I am sure that our new additions will give them just as much pleasure.”
