AN exhibition of paintings is taking place in the Orangery at Nynehead Court.

Nynehead Painters are all local people who belong to two groups, each with about 15 members, led by Virginia Chester and Jane Embleton.

Occasionally the groups go on sketching trips, paint clothed models or visit exhibitions in the South-West.

The paintings in the exhibition include oils, watercolours, acrylic and mixed media.

Many pictures are of local scenes, plus paintings from a trip to Tuscany Jane Embleton took last year, and from other continental holidays members have taken.
