THE Rockets Pre-School children and staff in Wellington wore odd socks to support the national World Down Syndrome Day.

Together they raised an amazing £52 at the pre-school in Brooklands Road, Rockwell Green, and helped to highlight the aim that people with Down Syndrome can and do bring so much to the community wherever they live in the world.

Sandra Mackie, of Rockets Pre-School, said: “Thank you to everyone who supported us in this worthwhile cause.”
